Today's Ranking

RankTickerSectorAIQMomentumQualityRiskΔ1dState
Ranking data is temporarily unavailable. The list updates after every market close.

State labels appear only when a stock meets a defined condition (New Leader, Consistent Leader, Accelerating, Momentum Divergence, Losing Leadership, Strong Momentum / Elevated Risk). Most rows carry no label on most days — that is by design, so labels stay meaningful.

Why this matters

Takeaway: Comparison data is still accruing for this list.

Comparison data for this list is still accruing — day-over-day interpretation appears once at least two daily snapshots exist. The ranking itself is complete as of .

What makes a breakout candidate

Candidates come from AlgovestIQ's technical-setup screen: stocks consolidating near resistance with tightening ranges, volume behavior consistent with accumulation, and momentum scores that are firming rather than fading. They are ranked here by Momentum sub-score so the list leads with the setups showing the most signal pressure behind the level. To be precise about the claim: these are setups whose preconditions match historical breakouts — a candidate list, not a prediction that any specific level gives way.

Breakout trading's documented weakness is the false break — the move through resistance that immediately fails. The context columns exist to help handicap exactly that: historically, breakouts from names with strong Quality backing and non-deteriorating Risk scores follow through at meaningfully higher rates than those from speculative, low-quality bases, where a spike through resistance is more often the exit liquidity event than the entry.

How to use this list

This is the most tactical page in the Market Trends section, and the discipline burden is correspondingly higher. Three rules serve most users: let the level actually break rather than anticipating it (candidates are pre-breakout by construction), respect position sizing informed by the Risk column, and check the market regime — breakout follow-through rates degrade sharply in ELEVATED and HIGH RISK regimes, where failed breaks cluster.

FAQ

How long do names stay on the list?

Until the setup resolves — the stock breaks out, breaks down, or the consolidation pattern decays. Expect faster turnover than factor lists; that is the nature of technical setups, not noise.

Why did a stock break out but never appear here?

The screen requires a detectable consolidation pattern first. Gap-driven breakouts from news arrive without the preconditions this screen looks for, and are intentionally out of scope — they are a different, harder trade.
